Long span shelving components are:-
Racking style uprights with heights of 1800mm, 2200mm or 2500mm.
Upright widths ( shelf depths ) are 450mm, 600mm or 900mm.

Beams spans are 900mm,1200mm,1500mm,1800mm,2100mm,2400mm & 2700mm.

The beams have an 18mm step on the inside to flush retain 18mm industrial particle board or steel shelf inserts. We have priced the board inserts seperately as you may prefer to source them locally to save freight costs.

Starter Bay
Starter + add on bay
The first or "starter" bay of a Long Span run is 2 Uprights and the beams.
Each "add on" bay is 1 Upright and the beams.
The long beam spans and shared uprights maximise the shelf area in the available space and save on the total cost of uprights.

The layouts below are for 1800mm high units x 600mm deep for easily reachable shelf levels.
You can configure Long Span racking to fit the height, depth , width or number of shelf levels that you need.
Long span shelving components are also used for work benches which can be fitted with optional castor wheels.
1) 2 shelf levels at 900mm and 1800mm with a 2700mm shelf span.
Uprights are 1800 mm x 600mm. Beams are 2700mm span with a SWL of 250 kg per level.
Starter bay (2 uprights 4 Beams) $185 + gst

For light bulky items the longer the span and wider the shelf the less the cost per item stored. For mixed or heavier items shorter spans take greater loads and allow extra shelf levels at a lower cost.
